Larry Johnson Now a Bengal
Running back Larry Johnson who was released a few weeks ago for mouthing off on Twitter is coming to Cincinnati. It is rumored he will be the number 4 running back for the Bengals and wont even be active in Cincinnati’s game next week against Oakland.
Owner Mike Brown seems to like to pick up players who have been released due to some sort of trouble — then he turns them into all stars. Look at Cedric Benson — in Chicago it seemed like he didn’t belong and with the two DUI’s the Bears had no choice but to release him. He comes to Cincinnati and he’s their new star running back/offensive weapon.
Hopefully Larry Johnson can get over himself and start a new legacy in Cincinnati. If Benson is #1, and Johnson is #2, Cincinnati is going to have one hell of a running game.
