At the recent Nascar Dickies 500, the pacecar was delivered in a unique and interesting way by an ex-astronaut. Marine Col. Doug Hurley flew a Chinook helicopter to the racetrack and delivered the races’ pace car, a new yellow Camaro, out the back of the helicopter.
