Chad Ochocinco has his own iPhone app

One of the most personable athletes on the planet, Chad Ochocinco, has just outdone everyone by coming out with his own iPhone app. The $4.99 app allows you to follow and “connect” with Ochocinco himself.
I’m not sure if he’s really that important, but at least he continues to innovate and get one step ahead of every other athlete. He participates and responds to people on his twitter every day, and can back-up most of his trash talking. Contrary to popular belief, Ochocinco is one of the hardest working wide receivers in the NFL, and even used to sleep at Paul Brown Stadium to watch film and practice.
There is however an interesting behind the scenes story of how the app got developed. Starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals (Chad’s team) – Carson Palmer – has a little brother (Jordan Palmer) who also plays on the team as the third string quarterback. Jordan Palmer and two of his friends own a company that develops apps for celebrities and athletes. His next project is for Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens.
